Some things about the layout and machine.

The card reel

3 sets of cards are incorporated in it, so is more than just a hi-lo reel. The cards have been created by myself (except for the playing cards, which are from the Jiggery Pokery layout). Art is not my thing and therefore hopefully if we get a DX, someone with great artistic skill, can produce a stunning set of cards for the machine.

The first set of cards are numbers 1-12, I have represented  these using the playing cards, Ace is 1, Queen is 12. These are used obviously for standard hi lo gambles.

The second set of cards have a convict or police move on them, these are used if you play the Run For Your Money chase game on the top board.

The third set of cards, have a convict or police move on them, plus a number on the bottom. These cards are used during the hi lo game on the top board. 2 numbers are gold numbers.
Upon entering the feature, if you hit collect you will play the Run For Your Money chase game on the top board and will not be able to play the bottom board again. You can also enter the chase game, if you land on the Run For Your Money square, when going around the bottom board.

If you get 3 Stir Crazy symbols, you enter the hi lo game, you guess hi lo and if you get it right you move, if not the police move, it's possible to still play the lower board, when in the hi-lo game.

Other bits.

The game has a barcode 3, 2 , 1 feature, has red modes and the 999 symbols, are awarded, when you nudge in certain symbols on the reel.
I've included a smaller version of the flyer and the pdf manual for the machine in the zip, both of which have useful info about gameplay.

Thanks wearecity glad you finished it with that more than confusing flip card reel .
Will snag it laters for a bash.
I have started cleaning the flyer for this so may get a dx in 2019.
Have you looked into PAC-mania another flip reel machine.?

I very much hope we see a dx of this.

If like me you're thinking the card reel is like a disc reel (a real head f***, which I can't get my head around) it isn't.

In fact it's so easy I even had to ask Wizard if I had set it up right because I thought surely it not that simple, but it is.

It is a standard reel but made up of 72 steps with a line in the middle, which acts as a divider marker, rather than a win line marker.

So for instance if it was just a hi lo reel but with 72 numbers on it, instead of the usual 12, absolutely no configuring would be required other than if you wanted to create 72 cards with the numbers 1 to 72 on them. You could just use the default MFME number cards.

It's just time consuming because it isn't just a hi lo reel. So you need to create the cards, because as you'll see on this layout, they aren't simply made up of numbers. Most cards have something different on the top and bottom, you need to take a blank card and in a paint program insert images and text as appropriate leaving a space in the middle.

Each machine of this type will require different card symbols, for instance on Wet N Wild they have arrows on them.
