Erm basically if set at 78%

£1 in at 10p a spin pays 78p taking 10 spins

£1 in at 30p a spin pays 78p taking 3.3 spins

Therefore fewer spins to reach the set percentage.

Hi liam,

It really just varies how long it will take you to get on the board and win the money, once on the board you have the same chance of winning no matter which stake.

Basically on a 10p stake it will take three times as long to get on the board as with a 30p stake.

Once there your still playing a machine at the same percentage no matter what the stake and thus can win the same amount

I couldn't really recommend 10p as £25/10p really would send you into a coma. I think the 20p/3lines/£25 is a good bet.

I only ever played them on 20p, and I made as much as the next person out of them ;)

playing multistakes on the lowest stakes can be useful in some circumstances. eg 1) looking for numbers on red arrow on 10p stake. 2) getting offered holds on royal family/hilowatha on 10p, when it could have taken much more to get the machine there on 30p stake.

however on hb/gbc/ [insert modern multi name here] you may as well play on 30p, otherwise you are likely to fall asleep and or get rsi from hitting start before any action occurs.
