Are all the other fme sites down for anyone,they are my end again been happening for weeks now? Cheers all.

Yep they are this end too, All fme sites have been going off line for a few weeks. Maybe it's something to do with Pete w updating them?

I am in using a vpn in chicago.

 

Not been able to get in since yesterday on virgin.

Looks like all the fme sites are back.  Lets hope they stay that way.

All OK now, but DIF and this one was completely down. I fixed connection problems and for a non-techy person it made no sense! It said "Your DNS Server may be down". What is this meaning? Never heard of that one before. Why not just say what it is in plain English lol.

I am new to this internet talk, so what exactly is a VPN? There's ads all over the place about them. Are they worth what they say?

You can get a free one but only limited to like 300mb daily download through it.

Just basically makes out that your computer is somewhere else in the world, hide from the feds lol.
