As of Jan 1st 2019, Scientific games will pull all support from T7 terminals.

It goes without saying,  3rd party support will still be available from the likes of JNC etc. but SG will officially pull the plug.

is their really that many t8 terminals out there ?

Will be interesting to see what happens from here. T7 is widely used still, go into any Gala Bingo, they are everywhere!

I hate Scientific Games since they took over the wonderful slot company WMS online...

I know they do these arcade, bingo, bookies slots at £500, but their online slots, especially since they've been updating them all to the HTML5 format are just pathetic and not a patch on when WMS was a company in their own right.

And with Barcrest, Bally, Shuffle Master and now a host load of other game manufacturers joining their online catalogue, I honestly do hope that the bubble bursts on them with their sheer greed!

This, all day long.  Rhino / Montezuma were without a doubt my 2 favourite games.  Since they went HTML5 i hardly play them, not a patch on the flash versions.

Been changing them here now for some time.

My mate that builds slots told me of this months ago and began then getting rid of the cabinets,

In the bingo halls there are tons of new slots with multiple games on them and varying jackpots-£100/£200 and £500 slot games.

As my mate said to me,you will find some smaller outfits will keep the unsupported units, but eventually they will inevitably become extinct!

I'm shocked they havn't flooded the likes of Ebay etc.

I stopped playing all slots in March this year and will never look back.

The more high tech they become the less inviting(to me) they are.

Rio 500's are still around. Save a youtube vid a few days back of an owner that had the balls to put an old section 16 £2 play back on the floor !!!

Have you also noticed Ruby Slippers 'Wizard of Oz'...

Plays out of sync, you know you've got the multiplier bubble when you get the Ruby Slippers feature before it even begins and also you actually get the Ruby Slipper feature now and don't sometimes even get a win! That never happened in Flash Player, you got at least minimum stake from it - sometimes, 1000s X stake - it's just a pathetic joke

Montezuma: You know you've got the repeat free spin feature when the multiplier lands, lights up and puts the multiplier amount before the symbols have even landed!

Kronos: When you get the Kronos symbol stack, it makes that droning sound for each reel, even when the Kronos symbols aren't aligned together for a win!

They really haven't taken any time to concentrate on the original coding when they've put these HTML5 versions together - just rushed them through and it is now pathetic!

Rant over lol

They will have some kind of protection in the hardware or software, or the software that they use to boot the games.

Yeah it's really annoying, so shoddily put together.  Especially Montezuma, loved the flash version, html5 one is just crap for exact reason you said.  Haven't played Ruby/Kronos new versions, and have no intention of doing so lol.

Lots of units turning up around here as Cat D "filler" with 3 games, Money Mad Martians, Reel 'em In and Rainbow Party installed.

Utterly pointless games set on £5 jackpot 82% payout.
