Hi all. I bought a nv10 could be an nv10 usb note acceptor for my deal or no deal machine. Seller told me it was working perfect. I set it up plugged it in and changed dil switch to note acceptor fitted. Turned on machine and.... nothing not a single thing. So went into test mode tried to manually enter key.. nothing it's not detecting the acceptor is fitted. Now either I'm been stupid or I have no clue. Any help no matter what is much appreciated. I have nothing else to test it on as my other machine is broken and I don't think I'll be able to return this.

Does it make a noise when you turn the machine on? As if it's whirring away? If not, then its either broken or there is no power going to it.

No noise at all. I think there's no power going to it but I've tried everything I could think of so I'm not stuck on what to do

It's either broken, not plugged in correctly at the note acceptor end, or there is a problem with the loom and connections at the motherboard end.

Did it have the old note mech at the time? If not, might be a dip switch on mpu to enable note mech...
