Reg: preparation so i have everything ready to go for when it gets here. games as it stands none you havent already got from what i can see in all the threads I've read from 2011 onward. FYI its a mpu6 (tbc) with Rocky £2, Rainbow Pots £1, High 5 £1, Big Bucks £1, Golden Charms £1, Grand Casino £1, Mummy Money £1
Fruitnutter & Reg - thanks for the response's - particularly interested in your input from threads I have seen you seem to be the oracles along with fruitbash!
FruitNutter, do you have a link to the thread where it was initially discussed - there was some info in it I need to get a head start for when my machine arrives, from memory it was you or fruitbash who were after the menu exec, and in particular your response to why do you need it unless you have more than 9 games response.
Also - if you could confirm my understandings from reading so far it would be hugely appreciated:
General:
-Bpak - essentially game packs - get installed locally via USB.
-Executive version - secondary OS that sits atop windows to control the machine (seems responsible for menu)
-Barboot - (Unsure what this is yet - gets vague mentions, what does it do?)
-Cleardown loom for coin mech - if this doesnt come with the box - where can i obtain, prefer not to make my own!
-Support - Machine has now existed EOL (end of life) - as such is officially no longer supported by SG
-Demo mode - door has to be open, and note acceptor/coin acceptor doesn't work - effectively nullifying use as piggy bank for all accept licenced games.
Drive cloning:
-Is ALWAYS possible, regardless of drive type - spoof it or edit registry (varying success from non pro's on here, although no ones spoofed!
Encryption/Licencing:
-New licences: Now unavailable - historically obtained through SG gaming - as such leaves available games in demo mode only (thoretically if licence locked to machine - you dont buy any dongles/keys you see online) so no way to expand licenced game set
-Main encryption/licence repository on local box is HASP TIME HL (is this in the MPU6 or on the board - does anyone know the physical location?.
Thanks
