I've already found a quick and dirty way to do what i want - i.e. make it usable as a piggy bank - essentially I'm going to stop it turning off the note & coin acceptor when in demo mode, and short the door switch to perma open, Already traced the relevant calls back and forth for the physical in - so shouldnt be to hard vs going at the main encryption!....  Also set to handpay only so it keeps the cash

 

I'll post the how to's when i have accomplished all my goals and summarized, to recap:

-Juke box selector - with full search connected to Youtube, bottom screen for easy search using osk - top screen to play video

-Browser selection - shouldnt be impossible - effectively full web browsing using a lite/custom client

-custom menus

-fully licenced games (although unlikely i'll publish this due to legalities) + unsure I can do this quickly without an active hasp key for tracing......

 

 

Any one got a spare help button?/point me to one - mine doesnt work and its not user serviceable (im not good with a soldering iron!)

Damn right i'm excited - as are my forum buddies (different forum) - a new challenge that we can't find has been done elsewhere as yet!

1st question How do you know it hasn't already been done ? - likely has been - but is being used for personal gain - and not exposed to either side of the web

Oh also come across the fab work the dr has done and been doing and andy - maybe this has already been done ! :D:D:

All parts ordered most will arrive saturday - first to mod the beast (new heatsinks, fans, psu etc - make it whisper quiet and efficient (hopefully wont cause any issues in mpu) - move the drive to a handy spot - make a backup to a similar drive and then hopefully to an ssd (aware of potential driver issues, but should be able to get around), hopefully someone will be nice enough to help out with the bpaks so i can load up the BPAKs i dont have.  Play with it for a bit then start on it! - hopefully no soldering required!

 

Has anyone seen the 10 game menu?, guessing it is the 40 game and the little grey button top left and right is forward and back

Have fitted a ssd caddy in mine,just coppied original over to ssd and all worked ok.

Now boots much faster!

This is the old Gala multi menu, which also house non SG games, like Blueprints and Astra games. They have a newer version currently.

Thanks for the photo. All of these have been sourced. Looks like mainly newest versions of each game.

 

Just that 0.8 Rocky is missing completely.
