Good Morning everyone, as you may know I have a 5p PLAY MPU4 MOD2 Super Hyper Vyper £6 CASH Jackpot, still working with many thanks a gain to FRUIT58!

I have had this machine for a while now, it does seem quite abysmal on the current stake (5p) and on 80%, I was looking to make it 10p ago and the reason would be so that I didn't have the change the prize amounts on the glass, i.e. mixed 7's 40p, green bars 60p, red bars £1.

Collecting so called decent features like suppa steppa rarely go over £6, and last night it went for a whopping £1.80! I don't want to change the % as I want it to be as real as possible.

So... does anyone have a 10p play £6 cash rom, or do I supply my current rom and have it altered?

You have the bwb rebuild, the decals are not changeable, it may switch to 10p via a dip switch.

Sometimes theres a sticker inside about the dip\dil switches.

I've had a flick through the Field service engineers manual (as I have same machine on £4)and can't find anything about 5p/10p option none of the dip switches in the 2 banks of switches are for that I can't find any mention of setting game price in the manual at all sorry

Same here, maybe you have to swap the program card or rom!?

yes probably sorry I had a look but you must have the manual already lol

needs a change of software,and it will need to be software that matches your version string of the game,if it's 2.0 you would need a version 1.0 or 4.0 or 3.0 so you won't get any chr hassles.

3.0 I think it says when it boots, I'll grab a pic next time I turn it on. How would we change the software?

How is the Rom burned them? I presume the 10p play version keeps the prize amounts the same. And there shouldn't be an issue if mine is bwb and a barcrest one is used? Etc.

You will need bwb roms to match the chr chip I think.

Thats the 10p v3 rom mate just had 40p and £3 and match.

Ive just edited the chr so they boot but lamps dont match up, put the 2 files in the barcrest layout folder and have a go.

Design, edit mode, rom loader press stop then clear the top one and load just the rom file in there and press start.

Like i said the lamps dont match up, but you can play it in test if open the back door and press the test switch.

OK, all seems good, hopefully the game play on 10p will be far better than 5p.

 

How do we get it on to my machine now lol.

I presume the lights won't flash like that on the real machine
