Bit of a shit kicker, my systems hard drive completely crashed and needed a new hard drive installed. Have tried to reinstall 6.1 on the new computer but keep getting Error XAudio 2 error message for DirectX. Anyone know how to fix this as looked at vids on You Tube and have removed and reinstalled everything plus restarted to see if it was this but no bloody luck. Have used Firefox and Explorer to download everything but still a dead end. Have also followed the 6.1 thread and still no joy. Any ideas please?

Done all that guys. That is the bit I know about but ran into this problem before and managed to solve it myself. Can I remember, can I *@#× Have reset my PC and will start over. What is the best browser to use and do I need to install WinRAR7 as well as DirectX runtime June 2010?

Sorted. DirectX was installed but not updated fully within the down load. Will start a new thread in help and advice in case anyone else runs into the same issue. Thanks for all the responses people.

If you have Windows 10, you must download MFME V19 (the latest version) from desert island fruits.
