If you run into the above error dont stress. It is a pain in the arse but a very quick and easy fix. Go into download files after downloading DirectX to your system and open DXSETUP. Follow brief instructions to update the components within DX and it will sort the problem. Will be easy to find as the file is stated in CAPS and the size is 506kb. I have uploaded a picture........ Thanks for the advice, but we told you in the other thread, and most of us know anyway.

If you knew I wouldn't of been stuck. I see a thread about downloading the relevant programs but not for the updates for Windows on new systems and the error message within windows for DX Set Up. If you can show me a thread which resolves THESE ISSUES then I apologise.

We told you to download and install the program with the link in the other thread YOU made, not rocket science.
You need direct x to play most games.

That was not the point I was making. I am talking about missing components and updates after downloading. Maybe it is the new system I bought. We told you to download and install the program with the link in the other thread YOU made, not rocket science.

I know that fella and appreciate all the help I got or get. Something was missing from the DirectX download so had to deal with it manually. Just thought I would throw it out there just in case someone had the same issue as what I had.
