File Name: Red Gaming's - Top Dollar £5 Dx

File Submitter: vectra666

File Submitted: 07 Mar 2019

File Category: MPU5

Next up is this different Red gaming machine from the usual red green features and jewel type game is this one called Top Dollar this version is set on £5/10p/86%, hopefully Tommy C is working on the £25 version.

Thanks goto

Reg for the image he uploaded to Desertislandfruits a while back
Samson 81 for the flyer for the £25 edition and the dollar image
Tommy C for pic ID help and pm'ing me the cut out dollar image used within the reel bands

I've left the £25 rom within the layout so if you want to play this on that level swap the rom in the file ending with "K" with the rom within the layout ending in "D" then simply change the stake/jackpot level via configuration,  obviously the cash decals will still be for the £5 version.

Shortcuts are as normal

  Plays in MFME6.1+

If i include Extreme's Bubble n Squeak which is completed but won,t be released till mfme v 19 goes public, this is actually my 250th layout of different machines (270+ if i include resized versions) released here so here's to the next 250!!!!

  Enjoy and Happy Gaming!!!!!

Wow, another one I've never seen or played before, nice to see a Red that doesn't follow the usual Red style of play.

Congrats to you for your 250th layout.

Put a good few quid through this now. Great DX very realistic looking.

Such a shame, this wasn't around in the mid 90's, it would have been a suitable and an entertaining machine back in the £6/£8 Jackpot era IMO.

I would say, it's a very rare occurrence, but this is possibly better suited at 10p £5 is probably, than a £25 jackpot.

They did release according to the flyer this originally on £15 jp and I’m sure those roms, or £15 rom part was within the roms I uploaded within the pic Is topic they probably end In a different letter than d/£5, k/£25??

Having played it some more, I would say, it's a bit too long between awarding features on £5 jackpot, so perhaps not better than a larger jackpot. There are some £5 jackpot machine in the wild, which are worth a few quid, but If I saw one for real in and arcade and walked up and put £5 or £6 in it, without a board, I would have probably have thought too boring, not bothering with it.

But I still reckon it would have made an excellent £6/£8 token jackpot machine.

Maybe shove it on 20p or 30p play would make it better if it does that setting?

Ahh never mind as when i first started this £5 version it wouldn’t go down to £5 with the original “k” roms installed for some reason.
