Hi

I have an Empire Games - Pure Madness which is currently set to 50p play and £70 JP.

I am told it is an MPU5 based unit.

Does anyone have the manual available?

I am looking to alter the stake and payout values. Would these be done via dip switches on the unit itself or would I need 9pin dip switch plugins?

Any other useful info would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks

Here's a manual that should help you - I don't have pure madness, but this is the same make and tech.  :)

Note: The current dip switches are as follows:

"Bank 2 - Options" (situated to the right of the %Key 9 pin)

1 - OFF

2 - OFF

3 - OFF

4 - ON

5 - ON

6 - OFF

7 - OFF

8 - OFF

The other switch bank, situated at the bottom right corner of the PCB is as follows:

1 - ON

2 - ON

3 - ON

4 - OFF

5 - OFF

6 - OFF

7 - ON

8 - ON

I don't know what that bank controls.

Given the current 50p play and 70 JP, these setting don't seem to match up to any stake/prize chart that I can find.

But I am a novice here so any ideas?

Thanks

@CaptainHaddock

Many thanks, will review the doc.

Cheers

These are upgrades from £35.
So the winplan goes £20-£70.

Hi

I emailed empire games and they kindly sent me the manual. I will attach it here for reference - when I can work out how!

I am still somewhat unclear as my unit appears to have non defined settings.

I will experiment with it shortly.

Thanks
