I bought a simpsons machine yesterday ( the 1 with the 4 different paths to get to the super jackpot in the middle ) and never got a manual with it. Can anyone tell me the sequence I need on the dip switches to change the jackpot and price of play. It is currently on 10p £5 jackpot. Also any idea where I can get the decals for hiogher jackpots as I only have the £5 ones. Thanks.
PLEASE HELP

Seem's you had the same problem as before in your other post .

Two posts in a year and both for dip settings help, the forums are here for anything I know....but not just help me's....surely in that time there have been other members questions you could have answered?

There's a good chance that the roms wont switch to anything higher seeing as 5 quid roms never usually go to 25 quid.

And thus you will need to get a new set of roms, and thats if you can change the decals on the machine to something higher which I doubt you can..

The reasons for this is that the laws on 5 quid machines are very different to the laws on 25 quid machines..

It does have the decals at the top displaying the price of play and it lists them all the way up to 30p a play. I have seen this machine in the arcades running a higher jp. If i cant get it upto £25 then a lower jp would be fine. There are 16 dip switches all together so I would rate my chances of being lucky with a random setting as very slim. Also the decals are detachable for £5 plus on the feature and the win list. Thanks

Have you thought about phoning maygay?

Serious. you're wasting your time... Phone maygay and they'll tell you how to do it, if you can.

They will also (most probably) either sell you a higher staked rom or send it to email so you can get it blown yourself.

As maygay is owned by barcrest, I would assume that is a accurate statement (wasting time phoning them).......

Unless the maygay part of barcrest operates totally differently from the rest of barcrest, I would not expect ANY help from them whatsoever unless you are a licensed gambling operator/fruit machine company.

Barcrest support sucks more than a whore desperate for cash, unless you have lots of cash, and a company.

I have spoke to maygay who just told me they dont make manuals for that machine anymore. Would a stakes and prizes chip help? Does anyone have a picture of the £10 decals ( feature board and prize list) aswell that they could send me so I can try and print it out.
