Is there a reason that my layout need to be checked over by admin all of a sudden before they are made visible to the public? Never had this problem before,explanation would be nice.

I dunno mate. Have just approved your Labyrinth layout though.
Hopefully some setting accidentally tweaked the wrong way in the background.
