just a little spec compare for us all to show what type of laptops/pcs you have

ASUS TUF Gaming FX504 SERIES Laptop

intel core I7+ runs at 3.4ghz

1TB SSD 

16GB Ram Runs 3777mhz

Graphics card is nvidia G Force 1060TI 6GB Upgraded

what you all got?.....

Got a Lenovo, paid 500 quid for it and it has no problem running three emulators at once with no hiccups or slow downs. Does the job for me.

Any PC running Intel 'i' series processors and at least 4GB ram memory or more shouldn't have a problem running MFME of any flavour...

 

The more you've got doesn't necessarily always mean the better it is at running games, especially like MFME - it is a matter of how what you have got is used to the best effect.

Still using a DELL XPS 420 from 2008...

 

Specs are Quad core Q6600 CPU

8GB ram (upgraded myself from 3GB, but windows 10 still says i got 3GB) Linux mint recognises the whole 8GB.

ATI Radeon 2600HD graphics (not used by windows 10 as too old)

Yes!, deffo need to save up for a new one as every time i go online windows update puts its own sound driver on for the soundblaster xtreme music card which kills all sound and tells me no speakers or headphones are plugged in so i have to unplug internet and uninstall device and drivers again to get sound back...

sounds like you have 32bit windows installed, hence you are only seeing 3GB memory in windows...

 

try installing 64bit windows, and you should then see the rest of your 8GB RAM...
