Hi Folks,

 

I am new here and loving this site, but I don't understand which emulators will play which games?  Is there a guide section that will help me understand which games will play on which emulators?

 

I am currently using MFME 9.4.

you need an upgrade lol,the tool of choice is MFME 10.8,but to se this,you must be running windows 10.

19.8 will run pretty much everything including the newest layouts.

Thanks for the reply.  Is MFME 10.8 on this website for me to download?  I am using windows 10.

Thanks for the reply.  I tried joining that site earlier today when I was looking for other fruit machine sites.  I registered, but having just visited the site, it now says I am banned.  Not sure why this could be, as I have never been on that site before today.  Is there no other way of being able to get the update I need?

I think they banned me because I used a temp email to register with?  I never realised it would be an issue.  Oh well.  Fruit Machine websites seem to be like some secret society or something lol.

if you are a genuine new member signing up for Desertislandfruits (DIF) I'm sure it can sorted out by Reg the site owner. If you have tried to open multiple accounts or received a ban previously, then Reg isn't daft and you'll get called out.

 

On the surface as you are a gold supporter here, it would be a shame if you can't get signed up over at DIF and get access to all the goodies available, as without MFME 19.8 you're missing out.

Thanks for the reply.  I have never joined before, I think maybe they banned me because I used a temp email, which I did not realise would be an issue.  When I visit the page it just says I am banned, so not sure how I would be able to contact the site owner to resolve this?

Reg is a good admin he wouldnt just barr your account for nothing,there must have been something duplicated. Try signing up with a genuine email address like everyone else has.

There is nothing duplicated, I only found the site the other day.  I have just tried joining again with my "proper" email, and it again says I am banned.

The site owner has responded to my message with the following

 

"So he signed up with a fake email - caught - strike one.  Why would he do that - what is the point ?

 

The rest of his problems are his own...

 

...unless that is also a fake account ?

I appreciate you taking the time to contact the site owner and posting their reply.  I rarely ever sign up to any sites using my "proper email", as I don't know what they will do with my info, or do I want to be bombarded with emails.   I don't think that's anything unusual in this day and age.  I appreciate websites do get trolls and spammers and whatever, but to suspect everyone has bad intentions is a little harsh.  I signed upto this website with my regular email, as there is little point hiding it when I have paid to join this site and exposing my personal details in the process.  I tried joining again on the other site with the same email I joined this site, but still banned.   So even by trying to join with my proper email, I was still banned.  I'm not going to get pissy about it all, if the site owner does not want me on their site, so be it.  Thanks to everyone for taking the time and effort replying to this thread.

Ok now my account lets me in...

 

1. The fake account is banned. 
 

2. When I say the rest of the problems are your own... wearecity did not post the screenshot I also gave.

...you have not clicked on the registration email approval - how do I help with that ?  That is something you need to fix.

 

The fake account with a dodgy email does mean bad intentions on experiences as you used a throwaway email address and not even the same username you used here.

 

You need to probably do something on your browser to stop the site thinking you are banned as browsers remember user accounts.
