Hi can anyone advise what the speaker sense dial actually does on an Epoch board please?

I can’t remember with Epoch, but Barcrest machine used to have a circuit which detected if you were trying to ‘Spark’ the machine with a piezoelectric generator. The circuit is meant to detect this and reset the machine, to help prevent fraud. The dial is probably a pot which adjust the sensitivity. I may be wrong, but there yah go.
