Hi, I very stupidly erased the program on my fruit machine when trying to replace the battery and solve a call manager issue. So I've found the MPU6 BIN files elsewhere on this forum and I'm trying to reprogram it, but every time I select 'BOOTSTRAP', it goes to 'READING USB STCK', then 'NO FILESYSTEM'.

I've tried several USB sticks now, formatted as NTFS and eventually FAT32 (just to try), but always the same result.

Does anyone have any ideas please, or shall I take the sledge hammer approach?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Don't know about these but are the files in a folder. I would imagine that your usb needs files that are not in a folder (Just the file(s))

Hi, thanks for the reply, I only had the BIN files on the USB, although I did also try the following combinations:

- one BIN

- multiple BIN's

- BIN's and ZIP file

Always the same result.

Yeah I reformatted all 3 USB's that I tried, firstly as NTFS, then FAT32 when NTFS didn't work.

Have you tried switching machine off, inserting usb and switching back on without touching any buttons on MPU6.

If it then displays the file name press enter.

Really old thread I know.... but just for anyone who has a similar issue - you likely need to format it without any partition.  Use a program called Rufus and select the super floppy disk(!) partition scheme

Then it's just the raw data from byte 0.  No boot information or partition data ta the beginning
