hi all im starting a cab build ..can i edit layout files whith permison from maker so it doesnt show the cabinet just the glass image ,,or can i do this myself

Hopefully you'll become a member at Desertislandfruits where you will get answers and help, with your cab build.
In general, when a layout is released, it's up to the end user what they do with it, for their own personal use in their collection. It's only frowned upon, if layouts are sold or alterations are made to layouts and then the person who alters them, releases them even for free as their own layout, that would see you get a ban from the forums.
How you alter them, will depend on your own skills using the editing tools in MFME and other art programs. While I make minor alterations to some layouts, I'm pretty useless, when it comes to that sort of thing, so can't offer any advice on that sort of thing.
