I have a Deal or no deal, The perfect deal

Please NO nasty comments, just need helpful advice.

It is fiited with a scorpion 4 board, turned it on the other day, left it for awhile, played it, it just went off.

Opened it up 4 green leds on the board, but the red led was flashing.

Turned if off, left it for awhile, turned it back on, and it gave a error 53, in the book it says check the battery,

The battery on the board  MPU looks good, the one on the game card a little corroded.

Do you think it is that one that needs replacing ?.

What should the reading be if I check the two batteries with a multimeter ?

Sometimes it will just turn itself off, go through the initialize, and goes off, red led flashing 4 green leds on,sometimes it will work ok.

Looked on the internet, some say it is the power supply, some say it is the MPU board, both are not cheap to replace.

Any advice most welcome Please.

try playing it in free play if it fires up and keeps playing then could be power supply as in normal play it could be dragging it down if no difference try giving the pins a scrape on the power supply and on the psu connection on the board battery on mpu is 3.6v and card is normally 2.4v if still keeps cutting out then does look like psu problem
