Yes it's a shame, but at least he gets to shag hermione first.. And the bit with the double ended Skrewts and Pamela Anderson.. Oops thinking of another book/ film...
Not really finished it yet, but half way through.. I like it. My gfriend says it's crap - she knows this just by looking at the cover.. Amazing really ain't she!!

It's amazing how women have the power to discern the quality of books, films and other things just by looking at the outside.
What do you think of the book so far?

I think it's really good - I am 2/3 of the way through now. The only problem is waiting another year for a conclusion.

I agree, it is really depressing knowing there is now at least another 18 months before the next one comes out..!
Let me know what you think after you've finished!

Have been watching this thread......May be showing my age here, but One reply I thought would come up was
This must be the first book in literally years that kid's (and Adult's alike) have read.
All this bumph in the press and TV about kid's non-stop on their PC's playing 'kill-the-Copper' or whatever, never reading and that they are becoming zombies has been completly wash out by these books haven't they!
Computers are a way of life of course, and do newspapers that report the above use Dies for the print anymore....doh no...a Computer program!

Well - I know a lot of kids read HP, but to be honest not the really young kids.. and I don't think that they understand the themes... It's really good that something is getting them reading whatever people think about J K Rowling.. It has to be metter than thx m8 and all that text speak crap that they normally read.. gr8 etc.... Or maybe that's showing my age...
The book is getting better and better - on page 450 now!!!!

Hi James,
I thought the same about the ending... it felt a bit rushed and I was really surprised at what happened with Dumbledore...!
Still good though. I think book 5 was probably the best though... so far

I totally agree - Book 5 was the best by far... Has anybody seen a Harry Potter fruit machine yet?? You seem to get Lord of the rings and Austin Powers etc.. But no Harry Potter.. Do you think J K Rowling is stopping it??
Take Care
James
