Come to think of it, I cant believe they use the testing method they do - automated testing, with a computer simulating lots of "human" players.... Doh have they not realised that if it didnt work when testing older machines it WONT WORK TESTING ANOTHER NEWER MACHINE!!!!!! It didnt find the emptiers on the last gazillion machines, so it wont find them on the new ones, sheesh its obvious....

This is pretty standard practice accross all manufacturers. It allows them to play millions of games in just a few minutes. It's not used for finding manipulators but rather to make sure the game plays to its percentage and to get a good overview of the statistical profile. The games are also play tested extensively by people you can argue how good they are considering Barcrest's record. ;)

some times i find it hard to believe that humans have tested machines because the amount of machines we get brand new on test that have faults on it that anyone with just 1 brain cell would have noticed ie. a bellfruit machine we received recently had reel 2 and 3 reel bands exactly the same.

a maygay/barcrest machine that we received just 2 weeks ago has the top feature disc reel wired in back to front.there is no way this machine was tested by a human before it left the building.

its is rare this happens though.
