Yeah. I remember that game well.

You had to collect scrolls and stuff. The graphics on that game was mind blowing at the time.

The other games on the cartridge if I remember were International Soccer, Klax, and Freddy's Big Top 'O' Fun...I think.

tes thats the one big top i thought was good too

if going onto consols did not have 1 till the ps1 then ps2 and then which i have now the x-box when the nes/megadrive where around i still had my amiga 500+ wish i still had this found a few games for this the other week but went and spilt something over computer and never worked again but still managed to sell to someone for £50 a few years back!!

My first one was a spectrum 128k+2 (the gray one with the tape deck built in) i got it about 1985/6 from currys. We (me and dad) queued for hours to get it and we got 10 games with currys inlay cards in can't remember what they all were but i do remember getting Nifty Lifty and Snooker. spent hours playing nifty lifty a simple game (which was good cos i was only 4/5 at the time) you had to go across the screen and back dodging the lifts as you went.

I had Daley Thompson's Decathlon on the 464 and must have broke about 3 joysticks.

yes daley thompson as a lot to answer for i went through about 3 or 4 joysticks

Then after the speccy I got a master system (2 i think it was, small black and with the reset button) Alex Kidd was great and of course you cant own a sega without having a copy of Sonic.

Then at christmas came the mega drive (a complete surprise as i'd been pestering my parents all year for it and they told me no chance we cannot afford it). This came with a 3 in 1 game (Streets of rage, Golden axe and shinobi i think)

Eventually i ended up swapping this for a SNES with the disk drive (forgot what it was called) got hundreds of games for it. I got addicted to a game called bombliss (a tetris clone where you at to position bombs on the line to blow away the pieces)

Then onto ps1 then ps2 now i have a modded xbox

Feud - a classic, there was a way to kill Leonoric in about three minutes flat with the zombie spell - does anyone know what I'm going on about? Probably someone DOES on this forum. You never know.
Heike's Herb Garden. Toadflax.

Oh yes i remember that one, i've still got it somewhere, must try it one day and see if it still all works! I remember Super Zaxxon, Crystal Raider, Action Biker as some of my favorites.

I still remember standing in Boots, trying to decide whether to buy Kickstart or Vegas Jackpot for £1.99, and guess what (surprise!) i bought the fruit machine game!

On the speccy

sabre wulf, knight lore, the incredibly hard lunar jetman, starquake, wizards lair, atic atac, manic miner, jet set willy with its great attic bug, alien8, maziacs( a very poor clone of the brilliant zx81 original "mazogs" , cookie, pssst

i could go on for ages if i could actually remember half the games i used to have for the good old speccy

ps had a sharp mz80a, plugged in in recently ,

it went on fire. HHhhhhhhhmmmmmmmmm

nb lunar jetman was never as hard as 3d defender on the zx81

There was a cheat of sorts for Vegas Jackpot to get 4 nudges and £20 for the Pears on the first credit.

You had to load up the game like normal, then reset it straight away. Once you got back to the start screen you typed in Sys8192.

It would go back to the beginning of the game and give you 4 nudges on the first credit everytime.

God I wish that I had kept all mine, you are really lucky.. I only have a few of them left..

on £1.99 games.... Someone I know is a salesman for Codemasters (lucky guys).. And I used to write games as good as them at the time.. Just never sold any of them.. Wish my dad had been in marketing..

The markup was phenomenal - £10 a game on a mass reproduction tape.. They made a fortunate..

The best game ever for the ZX Spectrum was Chaos:Battle Of Wizards

The first ever game to have 8 players on it, and all in 48k!

Aahh, those were the days, and another game I used to play a lot was They Stole A Million, planning burglaries on shops and stuff, that was great too, and Colony, a robot growing mushrooms on a planet whilst trying to kill the bugs eating your mushrooms.

Lol...@ JimmyMac and RB.

Here's a list of games I used to have I can remember.

Atari Console - Adventure, Bowling, Space Invaders, Combat, Pac-Man, Missile Command, Breakout.

Vic 20 - Arcadian, Cosmic Cruncher (cartridge), Football Manager (Who hasn't played that), Blitz, Manic Miner, Concentration, Omega Race (Cartridge), Mysterious Island + Loads of Llamasoft games including Revenge of the Mutant Camels, surely the best title for a game ever!!!

There were tons more but my memory fails me.
It's all done in the best possible taste. :bigeyes04:
