Hello All
Just thought I'd share this. One of my mates has just had his through. Took about a month after he qualified. The BBC even had a news story about it which the link is for below.
The website is offering a free ipod for simply completing an offer and
referring people to do the same (they can get ipods too!!)
All you have to do is complete one of a number of offers, for as little as
£10, or free if you choose a trial and later cancel it, and referring as
few as 9 other people to do the same. The offers are from reputable
companies such as Virgin and NTL.
I have gone for the free trial of the DVD delivery service as I was going
to do this anyway my first DVD is on the way.
It sounds too good to be true, I thought so until I saw the news report on the BBC.See the following
article for details of how they can make this offer (from the BBC):

please feel free to email me if you have any questions or concerns.
here's the link (by following this link, you count as my referral, you can
get referrals the same way i have by emailing friends
copy and paste the link into your web browser or click below if it works

Found this at the end of an abyssed thread.....
Then to quote the BBC site
I also hate these links, as 99 percent of them are cons, but there are the odd genuine ones, the BBC recently (its on there website) reported that the USA free ipod scheme was genuine, so who knows.
The problem is, if one scheme is genuine, there WILL be 1000 copy cats who are not....

f*** this, thrown in the abyss and the address deleted.
*EDIT] Decided against abyssing, may as well leave it public
You only have to look at the way that these schemes work - by posting this link you need a certain amount of users to complete this for you to get your iPod. EACH of the people that subscribes needs the same amount of gullible people to complete their offers.
I don't think any internet forum is the right place to peddle this shite. You want a free iPod? Have you ever considered working? I put in a 46 hour week at Argos for my mp3 player

hmm i did have a look into this but agreed it not worth it. but thinking who actually pays for the ipods in the first place.
personally i cant stand the things,as ive heard bad things like theyve got a limited rechargeable battey life and once its gone you have to chuck it or if you drop it there never the same.
