gaz, have to say that was a reallly shitty reply to a topic fella.
it was only a short time a go that we all realised that there is far too little in the way of postings happening on this forum lately and it was pointed out that this section was as the title says `ANY TOPIC CHAT'.
Now this may not have been your cup o tea but was there really any need to be so blunt about it.
Personally i couldnt give a flying f*** about a fella who has overclocked his pc to such an extreme amount but my response would normally have been to not have replied at all.
so let the lad post, someone may be interested!

Nice reply Jimmy, that needed to be said. No offence Gaz, respect, we all have a bad one.
7.1GHz is pretty mental, read some stuff on a site about someone that used liquid nitrogen to cool his system to see much how he could overclock it recently, this was just mental stuff, he submerged the whole motherboard in a non-conductive liquid, Why, just for the hell of it!
Overclockings not my bag, I want a stable system that ian't going to die on me, but, I suppose it's the boy racers of the computer world, but a lot quieter.

You will need that speed to run a .net program at the same speed as a old vb3 program.......... God help us when microshaft release the replacement for dotnet.... (although I will laugh my head of at the idiots that dont realise it will happen, and think they are gods gift as they can lie on a cv.... like its happened so many times in the past....)

can remember when intel over clocked a 1.5gig chip to 5gig with supercooling, think it only lasted 6 months, chips life expectancy aint gonna be good, maybe 6-8 months max, gotta give em credit though, the frequency is probably interfearing with everything electrical lol

lol Adydb, i wasnt referring to u ya numpty, and i know u were jokin ffs im not that bad..........or am i? ha ha
I was gettin 1 in BEFORE all the botters that attacked MY post started on him.
A bit of "backup" for the bloke like.
So plz "backup" "backdown" and "backoff" b4 you come "back on" and write owt "back"
p.s. the heatsink cooler jobby would actualy be a good idea but an expensive way to cool a beer down.(if u only wanted one specifically to cool your lager). but actually viable. Well done you. Full marks. (claps) ha ha.
(end of typing pure drivvel)
