Hi all,

Just got my latest fruit machine, Bell Fruit LORD OF THE RINGS "return of the king", and noticed the reelbands are in quite bad condition (reel 1 and reel 3 are dented and have a small tear/hole).

Can anyone sell me a set of reelbands for return of the king or point me to someone/a company who would be prepared to sell me a set?

I assume you can still get spares for this machine as its only a 2004 build?

Anyone know how much they are (after all they're only plastic strips you stick on?)?

Thanks! Martin :)

you will be looking at about 20-25 quid a set and bell fruit should be able to provide you with them

Thanks for the help/suggestions.

I have used Bell Fruit before for tech help, but their supply is only to the trade and they won't deal with individuals (or should I say they can't or are not set up to do it from an accounting perspective).

Any other ideas? I will try Bell Fruit tomorrow but I am reasonably sure they won't be able to help me.

Many thanks! Martin

You could try Reflex Gaming. They are 'greening' a lot of BFG games to rebuild into Fortune 500's and so on. Maybe they will have a set for you. Long shot maybe.

Failing that you could get the manager of your local friendly arcade to order a set and you can give him the money. BFG won't know that they don't have a ROTK...
Watch out! There's a SIG thief about...

Yeah, ebay - paid more than I wanted to at £315, the machine is mint all but these bl***y reel bands  !

Its a good price (at the mo) but in no time this machine will be quite easily available and loose money - but hey not much you don't loose on these days!

Fix them reelbands and I am happy. :)
