Hi im quite new to the Maygay stuff and just downloaded eastenders (albert square board) and its real slow.
I have a P4 3.0Ghz HT, 512 MB ram, GForce FX5600 (overclocked),
How do I speed this up? the 'Delay' seems to make no odds whichever number I put in.
Please help
Nick

hmm not really sure there is anything you can do then, you might be able to update the drivers on your card.

If your machine is slow it is likely to be because you are running Windows SP2.
I found if I used MFME1 and 2 under SP2 it was dog slow. I removed SP2 and it ran at normal speed.
SP2 and MFME have problems together, however this is not the case with all computers running SP2 and MFME.
Give it a try take SP2 off and see if it makes any difference, if not put SP2 back on.
Personally speaking I wouldnt use the SP2 CD for anything other than a beer coaster.
There is a reason why most people you speak to in PC world have apple macs!

I have Intel 4 3.20ghz HT with 1gb memories. Soyo Dragon 2 motherboard. HT is on and overclock is off.
Those run fine here.
I think it the running too many things in the background and overclocking is your problem. Never overclocking your chips!!! Never run too many things in the background!!!
Btw: Got Norton? That one of the things that can slow your computer down. It a hog!!!

I run sp2 Warn and it's no problem to me.....I really think that c90nutter is right with the mfme 1 and 2 being opposite running speeds.
I personally wouldn't recommend messing unless you are confident in what you are doing.

Ady im on sp2 aswell and have no probs.
guitars comp is much faster than this one he has a p4 where this comp has a athlon xp2800+ (2.08 ghz) and it runs fms smoothly, so i guess its just a case of getting the settings right.

Sound?
Realtek onboard sound will feck up most games trying to run on MFMEv (whatever).
Tell your mate to update the drivers.
