Guys
I wonder if anybody can help me with a problem I am having with my Monopoly machine. After it has been switched on for a short while, all the lights on the gameboard become very bright. Some of the cash values light up as well when they shouldn't, so it looks as though you have a higher win than you actually have. Not sure if I have explained this very well but basically every bulb is a lot brighter than it should be. I have changed the power supply but this has not seemed to make any difference. If I switch the machine off and then back on it will be OK for a while and then the same process repeats.
Any help would be very much appreciated.
Thankyou

Many thanks to you all for your help.
I've got a Scorpion 4 MPU on order so will try that when it arrives. Bit worried about connecting everything back up again but should be fun. Will let you know how I get on.
Once again thanks to you all for your help and advice.

hi matt, your scorpion 4 board is all packed and ready for postage tomoz wednesday.
if your that worried u would be better taking a picture with your digi camera (if u have 1) before u disconnect the wiring from the board, that way u know what goes where.
its easy peasey to connect, just have a few beers first....only joking

I was gonna recommend that before reading all the above post
Best way of doing stuff really.
One of the great features of Fruit Machines, as is the case with PCs, is that the plugs are done in different shapes and stuff, so that you can't really go far wrong with them

Just a quick thankyou to all who helped. The new board has been installed and works a treat. Much easier to do than I first thought it would be.
Special thanks to Mark (lincsleisure1) for getting the board to me so quickly and bazpeeb, engineer extraordinaire, who once again correctly came up with the solution.
Cheers
