I think someone should get pics for every machine so people can see before downloading, I been through the download section and basically only downloaded ones with pics next to them, ones without I don't bother with as I can't see what they are like, would improve it a lot.

I sort of agree with you BUT can you imagine the work that has gone into even the 'classic' layout's.....I think that 9 times out of ten this leads onto the DX/WDX versions coming out soon after, there are writers, designers and writer/designers, the classic is the heart, the DX is the body....I like 'em all!!.and the talented people who put them here!!...not that that's exactly what your saying but each download should be given a try, and we should remember all the hard time consuming work put into them.

I do agree in theory and beleive that most new additions to the site do have pictures beside them, but adding pics to the backdated downloads is a mammoth task.

Sorry F/M all I was trying to say was we should think of the time given to releasing machines. I like a good maching as does everybody, but even what can look boring or not-look-like-what-I-played-in-the-club can be a real good machine...BUT looking at it it is just bare bones...........this then leads people with mainly MAC's (I would imagine) to do the desiging side of things.....like the 'Don't judge a book by it's cover' saying.

Currently the downloads section is under review, there are also a lot of changes underway with the site moving etc. This is something that is on the wish list and will be looked at, but I do not wish to hold a timescale at the moment, as Pook rightly states its a bit task.
Thanks for your Input

razor, what are you on?.......so what do you think is meant by 'don't judge a book by it's cover'...quote..it aint the book cover...its whats in between...I still think that if someone is a fruity lover then they should try ALL the new downloads, after all that really is the only way to find out if you like it or not.

I think he was making is that you could have the best DX in the world, high quality crisp images pixel perfect but the game itself is crap, ok it might look good for a while but the gameplay will shine through sooner or later.
Opposed to that you might have a machine that is either a classic layout or a DX done from a low quality flyer or crap photos, but it's a great machine on a generous chip. The longevity of play will be there, I know what I'd prefer.
In FME you really can get a wolf in sheeps clothing. :sneaky:
