Y is that there is no sound on the machine even though I have the so called sound roms for this. The game would be better if I could get the sound working in jpem 1.46. All files I have for this machine are as follows:-

1/ TR_1
2/ TR_2
3/ TombRaider1024DX.jpm
4/ TombRaider1024DX.ram
5/ TraiderDX.JEL
6/ trdx.jpm
7/ trdx.jel

Any help on this machine to get the audio to work will be very helpful.Thanx

If you did have the sound ROMs you would be a very popular person. The only ROMs in the file name you have listed are the top two and they are both programs ROMs.

I have a DX of this basically ready to go, but never quite finished it off due to having no sound. You can have sound by stealing the sound rom and renaming it from various other JPM releases, it makes it a bit more playable but still not quite the same.

Thanx Pook and Duplu for your help but Pook, I am a bit of a newbie when it comes to adding sound to TR. You will have to explain it to me in lehmans terms from start to finish. I do understand what you are saying about stealing roms and renaming them, but that is about it basically. Unless someone else can do it, unlike the the one called Tomb_Raider + Audio, because there isn't any. I do need a lot of help on this one. Thanx again.

Ok attatched is a JPM sound rom, it's not the correct one and the sounds don't match, but it still makes it a lot more playable. Unzip this into your current tomb raider folder.

Now open your file called 'trdx.jpm' using notepad and a whole lot of text should come up, below is what mine says, the jpm & jel files will be different to yours as it my own version don't change yours, it's the 3rd line with the sound details you are interested in, just add that line into your .jpm file and save it, hey presto viola sound !!

i got a question about the tomb raider fruit machine, how do i claim the nudge win? it offers cash prize or nudge prize, but i cant take the nudge prize, even though lites are flashing, i can only click cash, and nudge is sometimes better, please help/.

If u want to take the nudges, press n, if u wanna gamble press space otherwise press n again. Hope this helps.
