I have tried to download several machines. I have put each machines layout rom and sound into the same folder but MFME2 doesnt like it and keeps saying no rom or sound file found!

Have you unzipped them?

In that case what are the machines?........If they are MFME machines i'll write a quick step-by-step for you

I have tried eastenders - the queen vic, and star trekking!
I have managed to get star trekking working apart from the alarm keeps going off with a code 1! I adjusted the delay and now i get a 1.4 alarm! Arggghhhh!!!
A guide?

ok with a little tweaking i have managed to get star trekking working! A very amusing machine i must say! but a guide would still be very much appriciated!

OK only doing this as i'm bored as there is a Tutorial as in the link above....
sorry Duplu forgot they were there 
Right this runs for me....download MFME2 again...the Layout and ROM by the links above.
Alter speed to around 100000 from 500 (defaulted as written for v1)

ok thanks! now I keep getting ALARM 1.4! whatever that means! also when I click tutorials, it brings up a windows for replying to a topic!

ok, i have now got queen vic working cool! (thanks for the help) but the star trek one keeps alarming no matter what the delay!

the alarm is a coin jam......must be perticular to that machine.
Remember to check speeds and ensure you have the correct Emulators.

could it be a code 14 instead of a 1.4?? Does any1 know how to clear it as it is not letting me play the machine coz the alarm keeps sounding!

i think i have sorted it! I did it buy making sure all the DIPs were off, then turning on only the first 2 on the top row!!

Can't see that being the answer as the original download works fine......
