I've got a new machine now... JPM's Snakes and ladders, and JPM's Hangman which plays sweet as a nut.
First time i've ever had a SWP machine. Not one for a quiz machine but it was there and I thought it rude not to take it off the previous owners hands.
The snakes and ladders was a suprise to me as I swore I'd never buy an emulated machine as I can just play them on the emulators. But, as before it would have been plain rude of me not to have it
I miss my first ever machine though, BWB's Double or Quits. I loved it!

Hi CoasterDesignerPro.... yup... so far.
Bought Temple of Treasure and Italian job today from SE.
Dont know if they will be able to get me the Monty Python at a good rate though. They dont have it in stock. They are quoting in excess of 300 pounds - and I know I have seen these for less than 200. I realise to source one will cost more, but adding the cost of shipping this goes to over 550 pound for a Monty!
I would also like Premier club Manager - SIMS Leisure has one on ebay.... you know if this company has a good reputation or not?
NAILS...LOL... yeah shipping is costing me more than the Fruit machines themselves. As well, I am investing in machines I have never played before! Must be nuts... oh well!
My bar downstairs will be a great place once I am finished... I will post some pics late summer.

No offense but I've previously seen TOTs sell for £100 and am willing to let Monty Python go for just over that figure - if you are going to buy from the likes of SE you need to try and get the price down as much as possible.
Unless you are happy paying their prices
As for SIMS Leisure, was very happy with them. They are sorting out my Club Crazy Fruits early in April when they are next in my area. They have said I can have a like for like swap or can pick from their current stock list (which will be changing very soon) if I fancy an alternative.

Hi Bencrest,
I got the TOT for 82 pound - ebay purchase from SE... I got the IJ for 160 - again ebay purchase.
I think all of the retailers are a little expensive - but SE are certainly givingme good service , answering all my questions, etc, etc. I dont mind paying a little extra - specially being so remote with all the possible things that may go wrong.
Some questions on the Monty - what is the payout on this unit, what sort of condition, any problems with it?
Would this cost 50 pound to get to SE?
Cheers
Martin

sounds like a flat ram battery?
id check the battery for signs of leaking mate, my chequered flag developed a problem like that- died a few weeks later from battery fluid corroding the board.

Not that I'd class it as junk but I have more than enough stuff in my house-so the only room I have is on the PC for emulated ones

I hope to be an owner in the next few days. I have always fancied owning a fruit machines, but now decided to do it.
I just wondered if anyone has any tips on what to go for (or avoid)?
I think my criteria is this:
- Good condition
- 3 Reels (I don't like the idea of a high value 4 reel machine at home, but am I alone with this thought)?
- £25 Jackpot (perhaps £15, but certainly not £5)
- Trail (Rather than the "3 in view" system used on some machines
- And most importantly, a 'feature'... Rather than just adding nudges/spins/cash to 'pots', I would like to have a board to work around gaining cash/nudges/etc
I am looking at 2 at the moment.. One is "Pyscho Cash Beast" which I gather is popular.. The other is called "Royal Roulette"..
If anyone has ANY advice for me, I am all ears.
All the best
Jon

Hi,
I own Barcrests The Addams Family which is a £25 Jackpot.
and i also own Maygays The Italian Job 3 which is a £25 Jackpot.
The Italian Job must have had a £1000 put through it and not once have we had the 3 Red Minis feature!!
Chips.
