Yeah, there's at least one other S16 that has a > £500 jackpot by Concept. The guys at the Gaming Board say even though they're not happy with it, it's not illegal and therefore there's nothing they can do about it. Not yet anyway - when licensing of manufacturers comes in, those who are not playing by the rules now may find themselves having a hard time.

That will be Magic Dragons or Red Hot Fever then with 27 wins lines and £675 jackpot. There has been a rechip done of that I beleive with a max stake of 20 lines and £500 jackpot. Done on MPU4 rio as well

thanx for the info stevedude2

i played cashino today, after 100+ in i thought that it had played rather cold, and began to bet that 200 would drop in, a further 20 and £180 dropped in.

i will accept what stevedude2 says, but seeing is believing.

Red hot fever has approx 1 in 31000 chance of 9 7s in view but it does not have the pre spin check like slotto for a jackpot. As you have found out though there is these other hi value spins that are not given on other sec 16 machines. Slotto you are lucky if you get a winning spin of over 100 quid unless its the jackpot. Red Hot Fever will give you $450, £300, £270, £200 and a load of variations under £200 so you have more chance of a decent win

Gary, how do you get the figure 1 in 31000 for Red Hot Fever?

Nails, how does 8 out of 9 sevens pay £450? I've never seen the game before, but I though that the 27 lines act like 27-ways-to-win or anywhere in view (like JPM's on Each Way Nudger for instance), and therefore the missing 7 would contribute to 9 of the winlines, meaning you would win £275.

Any enlightenment would be lovely! :)

450 is 18 x £25 not sure how you worked out 275 as that would be 11 win lines (not possible on Red Hot Fever)

Steve 24 stop reels and one position on each reel that gives the jackpot (well its not exactly that its 94 stop with 3 positions for the jackpot which is 30697 to 1)

Does anyone know if Fortune 500 is MPU4? If so could it be emulated - how would it generate the numbers?

Thats the QPS one in the Bell fruit cabinet. If its that one its Scorp 4 (could be Reflex gaming and not QPS but still scorp 4)

Also just for info no sec 16 machine, even the mpu4 ones, can be emulated as they all have external RNGs. Unless there was a way of hacking the rom and inserting your own RNG code then you have no chance and TBH that is no easy task.

stevedude2 -

7 7 7
7 7 7
7 7 7 pays 27 x £25 = £675. (3x3x3=27)

7 7 7
7 7 7
7 7 - pays 18 x £25 = £450 (3x3x2=18)

ive had £300 some five times like this -

- 7 7
7 7 7
7 7 - (2x3x2=12) 12 x 25 = £300

Sorry Gary, I was thinking £500 jackpot instead of £675, and took the £225 off that instead. Duh! :)

Nice to see a fellow designer on this forum. ;)

At the end of the day.....

If you are 18, you can drink, Vote, be a Homosexual or Drive...

Yet it's insisted that you enter an arcade that clearly states 18+ only..you can only win a maximum £25 on an AWP (S16's=AWP at multiples of the stake)....Don't make sense, How am I 'allowed by law' to bet £1 on a horse and win say 100k?.....

If S16 fall into the random cat as horse racing, why am I restricted?

Good or Bad.....18+ Arcades should be able to provide whatever JP they want in my eye's for whatever stake they choose, then I am old enough to decide if I want to play.

The law is an ass....

It has no idea about anything modern, and these days protects the guilty more than the victims.....

Most law is based on "past" examples. Thats why laws never seem to catch up with anything modern, they have to wait for a court case to set a precedence. The people who set the laws have a negative IQ, and problems with reality (more so than I do...)
