Well, you can't really blame me. I mean I've always wanted one of these
Huge thanks to Mark from Lincs Leisure [username lincsleisure1] for selling me this, and delivering it. Machine is far better condition than I was expecting, good price, delivered the day after we agreed a price and stuff by email... I'll no doubt get something else from him later
Anyway, you all deserved an explanation as to why the site was quiet, and here it is! Lemon Curry?! Nudge Nudge! Wink Wink! Say no more! NOONE EXPECTS THE SPANISH INQUISITION!!
*ahem*
Better get back to it I suppose ;P
BTW the pic looks dodgy because I did it in low light to maximise the lamps, and exaggerate any that were blown so I could replace them. 1 blew on the way down but I can't blame Mark for that, I only noticed it under low light [it is the 1st Skill Knockout feature lamp ]
Laters all!!

Lovely machine Ben, arguably one of the best fruities ever in term of artwork, light shows and the sound package, really demonstrates everything that Barcrest do well.
Couple of points:
1) Not nice at all on the £25 JP, I'd play it at £15, even if you ain't got the £15 decals. As you say yourself, only the JP value will be wrong.
2) Any idea what chip revision you've got?
This was one of the classic "force to streak" Barcrests, as long as it had taken a few quid since the last streak, and was less than about £15 off full, you simply forced out a JP (any way you like) and you would then get repeats or invincible boards to £45, or, on a really good day, £60. (On the £15 chip.)
Needless to say this was chipped out so whilst you can still *sometimes* force it to a streak, it's not at all dependable.
It's also easy to tell when the machine is getting to close to a JP as you'll start with two or three bonuses and the stacks will start two or three up at feature entry.
Not sure about its long-term appeal as a home machine, 'cause outside of that saved-for streak, it's essentially pretty flat profile.
All that said, a class act from Barcrest, wouldn't say no myself

I agree, I'll be moving it to £15 as soon as I get a new stakes/prizes variable key. What I did notice is that the left hand decal [cast stack] is actually in 2 parts - the bottom decal covers £1 > £12, and then there is a seperate decal at the top for JP amount. Weird that, as when it was released, when the max JP was £15, so the only decals you would need would be £5, £8 and £15, all of which would probably have different amount below the JP. Maybe it was done to save stress on the plastics though?

Comes up as MPTR 0.1

Yeah, can't argue with any of that. I'm relying on the theme itself rather than the profile for entertainment and longevity value, I'm sure I'll have it for quite a while, and it was cheap enough for me to be unable to refuse it
Shame that I've not had an IM yet on it. Must be the £25 chip just doesn't like offering them? I've tried all sorts to get it out, including useing everything available [skillstop, move forward 3, and take a ride] to land on the Lose space on what is clearly a JP capable board.
Last time I gave up chasing the IM and let it drop I got a JPR for £50, Super Cash for JP, Crazy Streak for £13, Crazy Streak for £10, and £8 from Super Cash, within 20 credits.
I'll leave it to drop it naturally from now on I think, it has to give it one day, surely?!
