Hi all, quite new here, anyway I have a couple of machines in my pub (not been there long, first time we've tried them out in our place) and late ish saturday night a saw a lad playing one of them (reservoir frogs I think) and he started fumbling around the plug socket

when I asked him what was wrong, he said he was looking for change he dropped and then left within about 2 minutes.

question is, was he trying to acheive something by messing with the plug?

hopefully it was all in vain as this is the first time I've allowed fruit machines in our place and I don't want it to be causing a problem every five minutes

cheers all

no customer should be fiddling with any plugs ,he may be trying to turn it off and on so the machine would go into alarm and then claim for some money.

always make sure your machines are in sight from your bar area.

btw resevoir frogs is a terrible machine.

Bar the Bas****s, clearly they are up to no good.

Some machines can be put on test by pulling back doors etc, keep an eye on them.

As Baz says keep them in a clearly lit area so staff working can see them clearly (particularly the front and back doors), how hard is it to get keys etc.

damn good point about the keys. if you own the machines and are worried why not do something so they cannot get to plugs and put a padlock on front/back doors so the key alone wont let them easily into your machines easily

maybe he was tryin to get the refill info but sometimes you do have to disconnect the power as some machines only let you view the refill info after you turn it on and off, then you get 1 chance to use ya refill key, until the powers turned off n on again thats what i reckon.res frog an evil bandit 2-10

maybe he dropped some changed by the plug point?

maybe your all paranoid?

barcrest went through a stage of just allowing the refill key to work once, but now it works all the time.

4 jackpots in 8 days? who`s cheating who..
