my kids love nipping over to blackpool and playing the teddy cranes
got thousands of toys they never play with.we decided recently to
build our own private amusements in our garden and would like to have a crane in there anyone got a rough price or know where to start looking for one (other than ebay)

its very rare to get a teddy crane for less than £350 and it depends what sort of crane u want, there are single toppers or double or jumbo toppers.

you could try giving ian eason a call at instance automatics, near skegness.

they build single topper cranes

£350 is nothing seeing as a day out in blackpool with our kids costs over £150 min anyhow

I have seen a few cranes on there recent for not much shy of £100.. but you usually have to pick them up from miles away - anyway I would keep an eye on ebay is your besty bet!

Is there really a lot of money to be made on those cranes then?? You always think that they are just there for the kids and lovers who insist on winning their bo a teddybear.

the ones i think he means look to me like they was in a fire
guy had 3 machines in total all had same smoke problems and broken glass
chances are they was in a fire and dont even work. much rather pay more and get one i know is going to work

I've seen people put a fortune in those trying to win a bear for a spoilt kid who can't take no for an answer...
Could have bought 10 bears for what they put in those machines!

need something for the centre of our 4metre/3metre amusement we are making in our back yard think one of thoose might just look a tiny bit out of place

i agree but mine are different they have special needs and just dont simply understand why they cant stay there all day and night winning bears

if u can buy cranes for £20 then i would like to see proof or even links coz i don't think u can get them nowhere near £20.

i have 6 single topper cranes all on different sites and iv'e never come across any at £20 anywhere not even ebay,

the toy mini cranes he means. made of rubbishy plastic b+m bargains had them for about £17.99 at one point

If I know what he's thinking about, I saw a clear plastic box type crane that held keyrings and the likes. Not the average run of the mill arcade crane machine of course. I think it's the 'executive toy' version. Like those plastic fruit machines that sell for about £15 to £20 but a crane in similar style. Sits on the desk and can be tipped upside down and back again to omit the crane part of winning.

I'm sure in a recent catalogue (Argos/Toymaster or something like that), there was a battery operated pusher machine going for about £20 or so.

We have it all now and battery operated. Toy fruit machines, toy cranes, toy pushers and of course, toy videogames in the form of those joystick things that plug into scart sockets, again for around £20.

All we need now is sand down our undies and the 'home' seaside experience would be complete.
