went into a local amusements today to ask about buying a bar x off them
its located in fleetwood on lord street
out of about 40 machines
2 was fully working (1 was one section of a tripple play machine)
5 had most lights blown
30 has customs and exise stickers on them (guy even told me that they was not allowed to touch thoose ones)
guy was drunk when he arrived to let out the customer he locked in while he went to the pub
he didnt like giving change to customers even though both his change machines like all his others did not work
and he didnt half drone on
anyone found a worse place than this post about it here

the thing is romx, some arcadians don't give a feck about there machines or arcade as long as it pays the bills ect ect at the end of the week, i call these back street no hoper arcades, i think these should be closed down or atleast given a minimum standard to trade as an arcade. i am looking closely into buying an arcade in a small place called louth its the only arcade there and it has lots of prospects.

That really does sound like the worst arcade in the world. It should be shut down.

I live in Fleetwood and can safely say that the arcade in town is defo the worst ever. It never used to be that bad as I used to speak to the owner when I went in there but apparently he has other arcades in Blackpool so concentrates on them now. Pity as it used to be great a few years ago.

I could tell you a few horror stories about "Rainbow's End" in the Swan shopping centre, Birmingham (Yardley).
A depressing collection of sub-80% machines, set in a smoky back room in a dingy indoor market. Still get plenty of play due to mostly being set on 10p play, which is enough to attract the dolite chav scum, pissy-smelling grannies and fat, tracksuited Sharons that frequent the place.

99% of theese was set at 72%
and there was only 3 machines at 30p play/25 jp

the worst arcade i know of is an arcade called funland in grimsby all the dosser's used to doss there spend there giro's ect.
the arcade has been closed for around 2 or 3 years now.
the owner who is asian couldn't afford to buy the lisence for the machines and replace most reel glass or top glass which was put through on most machines when the kids lost there do$h
