refill keys fit about 80% of all machines at the moment but future machines may well use different keys per machine.
chances are it will fit your machine

Cant you just buy them for any key shop, I beleive they are lowe and fletcher or somthing, you tell the keycutter the keycode and he can just cut them.
Im probably wrong though or its old info.

They are Lowe and Fletcher 87000s, they are also sometimes [I guess it depends on key maker] 8700s or 187000s.

I'm gonna dig a bit deeper into this if i can.
I work for a metal products company(cupboards, lockers, safes etc),and every lock and key we use are manufactured by lowe and fletcher.
I will have a word with the rep and see what i can get.

i've never seen a lowe and fletcher refill key on a new machine for a while.
we seem to be getting camlock refill keys now.(but they are exactly the same.

like i said theyre doing new keys to prevent people who know stop checking for potential gain i wouldnt be suprised at multiktikey system (old key shows what you want to hear and new key real info)
they know the scams and i for one am sure theyre going to stay that one step ahead

Appreciate the response, and jay2 thank you for looking into it for me.it would certainly be nice if i could just go to a keycutter and get one cut.my cops and robbers machine has a label inside the backdoor saying it was test passed etc in 1994 so i know its at least 11 years old, dont know if that helps, but thanks again to all who took the time to reply...Gary

... I don't think theres any possible way of scamming using a refill key [unless you have the other keys and access to the 'dump hopper' switch or the test switch. Also, Baz said that the keys are exactly the same, but just a different brand. Camlock keys are 187000 which is exactly the same as a Lowe and Fletcher 87000.

p.s you can also cut a key to code if the cam lock has a code on it. lockers etc have a three digit code and you can get a key from that.
