lo ive seen a lot of threads about how much u have won,but hows about "how much have u lost??" i know it will have to be a rough estimate but hey ho

i think the reason theyre arent "how much have you lost" threads previously is the fact none of us want to think about our losses lol between 16-21 i spent all my non working hours in the pub sipping beer and throwing my life into the fruit machines.

should have my big metal shed in a week then its major machine hunting

best thing i ever did was to buy a fruit machine. i found it really helped me to not go and throw my money into aracdes. not only did i see how rare they pay more than you put in but also after 3 month i opened it and took the kids out for the day on the proceeds.took me 3 years of hard work to get rid of all the debt thoose things caused me.

im sure someone on here has spent far more than i have love to hear how much the rest of you have wasted on theese machines

I'd say I waste about 50 to 100 per week and have done for the past 15 years or so, sometimes I lose upto 200 a week.
So approx £39,000 but probably alot more
Even with your good days,it all goes back eventually.

too much lol.. dunno, most of wot was left of ma student loan is gone, bought some shopping etc, loads of pints and rounds lol... but id say in the past month £250,
over the 6 years ive bin playin em, probs about at least £5000. not much, but i dont get that much money from work, and im not that bad, so its not much in the long run... Grrrr, i h8 fruities... lol
Spent £70 in hard cash in about 2 hours, quite fun, but i h8ed maself 4 it afterwards coz thats ma livin money lol... i no sum guys are gonna say 70 quid, that aint much i blew 350 in one go, but i dont have much so that is a lot to me lol...

i've lost over £11000 (3 years of uni loan) since February, plus all the countless years i've wasted £10 - £25 in the arcades during weekends.

Decided last week enough was enough and that i can't afford to get into debt and hence have stopped.

Has been one expensive year, then the misses found out and went mad.

I'd say over a hundred grand (stupid US keyboards don't have pound symbols).

That's over 15yrs+ playing the damn things - stopped several years ago
by moving to the US and casino slots *suck*.

Yes, that's a crazy amount of money, something i try very hard to not
think about but once in a while at night it comes back to haunt me.

Talking about losing and cars, the final straw came for me when the boss of the arcade I had frequented for too many yeard drove in in his brand new Jaguar XK8, and I thought : "THATS MY MONEY !!" . I have never been back since.

in the early years i didnt have a clue, these were the days of roller coaster etc in arcades. over that last few years ive really cleaned my act up, and with the advent of s16.. well , just bought a tom tom with the profits.

On average £100 quid a week for 15 years.....whats that...? oh yeah...just £75,000...this year.......about £300 TOPS!!!!!! i am gettin there i think????

Job to say really, been playing for a good 10+ years now. Had some serious profits and some serious losses(£340up the best, £200 down the worst (£200 is all I take and that was a feking section 16 machine). I'd say the 1st 7 years about £10,000 down and the past 3 years, think i've lost on about 5 visits, £50ish roughly (go every weekend, and sometimes hit a few pubs in the week )
