My serious answer has to be the 72 year old Alan Shearer (or so it seem's!)
The Not-so-serious (or is it )
George Best......
Could He Sink A Pint Or Two.....
.................
Call me out of order?......No sympathy sorry, he's had his chances-and an operation someone would have been thankful for and not re-abused.

I never thought I would see a statement like that on a forum like this, no offence!
Believe me, I know he had his chances. But addiction is a painful, destructive thing. Even to the point he was physically ill when he drank, he still did it.
Thank goodness my only vice is gambling. And women. And beer. And tabs.....dagnammit am doomed!
As far as football legends go, as a Leeds United fan, anyone with a couple of quid is a legend! Seriously, the best footballer I have ever seen is Eric Cantona (scumbag t**tface he is). A footballing genius.

Fair point. Still, addiction is painful. And Mr Best is in pain. Am a Leeds fan, wouldnt piss on a Man Utd inferno, but as he's in a bad way, I'll be praying for the chap tonight.

Dennis Bergkamp
Thierry Henry
Van Basten
Johan Croyff
I could continue on all day but then it would get debatable.
