I'm having the joy of finding and joining this site quite promptly dashed by the fact i can't get anything to download propperly, it either drops to such a slow speed that it just dies, or freezes part way through and says it's complete.

Any ideas on what could be the problem?

Welcome To Fruit-Emu.

I had this problem, It was dropping down to about 36k, I cleared my cache and it seemed to fix the problem.

If your using IE that may be something to, Firefox is pretty quick.

Using firefox quite happily and just cleared the cache, now all i have to do is pray ^.^

and my drop is down to 5.2kb >.<

Are you allowing cookies for the site? As some people have had problems with the sites cookies and there not registering properly.
Unregistred users are limited to 8kb/s sec. But i cannot see why your able to log onto the forums under your user name if your cookies are not registering properly.

Maybe duplu could shed some light on the situation?

Gah, it's still playing up after that >.< 85% of the file and it's just frozen....

this is really not my day for downloading.

downloads?? ive `suffered` verbal attacks from useres, aswell as IP bans, and accusations that im pt05.


getting hold of a copy of `tuppeny cracker` is the least of my worries

The problem sorted it's self out, but how does any of the complaints about people fit in with, something to do with downloads?
