I used to use Torrents but really the upload speed in the UK is so crappy it's not ideal for sharing the large files I'm after. So I migrated to Newsgroups in conjunction with NZB's and an unmetered 8mb connection - soon to be 22mb. It's FAR better than torrents.
I do around 400GB a month of DVD-R's, games, music, TV rips.
