Just been down to see this at the local Cinema..
I Think it's an awesome film! Anyone else seen it and thinks it was a sequel much better than its prequel?? :-)

I really liked the first one so I'll probably give this a view if I can persuade the wife to come.
Trust me, if you liked the first one, then you will love this one because it really is a lot better than No. 1

Ive seen both of them and the second one is brilliant. Its got so many twists in it and its just such a good film, although the first one is still brilliant also.

So apart from the first one being appallingly acted with very little plot and a paper thin story and totally obvious - I can expect the same from the second then? Oh Joy!
I always thought the first film soooo wanted to be se7en but wasn't... only my opinion but hey.....

had a good start to this, same intricate traps as the first, really creepy stuff. It completely fell on its arse in the middle though. Was almost like the director said, "right we need to go work on writing the ending to this so you guys piss about and do what ya like".
Problem was we missed out on what each persons problem was and what the traps set for each were, which is half o the premise of the film, the ingenuity of Jigsaws escapes.
It did however finish very well, ending was one that i kinda thought might be coming but was worked very cleverly.
All in all a film worth watching, wouldnt say quite as good as the first but hopefully they will work more on the third as a whole rather than just the beginning and end

Gotta agree with Jimmy here, watching the first scene I thought... DAMN... this is gonna be great ... then what happened???? it totally fell apart, no where near as grusome as the previous ideas, I mean... a girl with a few needles.... ppplllllleeeeeaaaaaaaseeeeee... I've seen scarier things at show with people who have millions of peircings (cnat speel).
nice film tho, and loved the (supposed) twist, I agree it was expected, but then they had to do something to hope saw 3 was coming.

Suppose everyone has there own views, but appaling acting, I think thats going a bit OTT, I dont no what film you were watching. I can imagine it takes a lot of efford and patience in making a horror, there is so much to get right in the acting, you blow it, youve f***ed up a quality film.
I agree with most of the comments, SAW 2 is not as gifted as the first, most probably as we all no about the theme....
Watched Descent at the weekend, average horror flick, well composed for a british director. great makeup and character detail, but in my opinion, the story was rushed and we could have done with a few more jumps before exposing the man eating mosters. All in all a good effort.
