Can anyone please tell me how I store the price of play and jp settings on a barcrest mpu5 machine. I have taken the stake key out and when you open the top it gives the options of different price and jp. Using the hold buttons you can go throught he options it has and I want it on £15 20p play. If you hit the start button it goes into freeplay and this is the option it plays in but when you close the lid and the machine resets it says nokey and puts itself on £25 30p play. Am I able to save the £15 20p play before closing the lid so it doesnt reset back to the max the machine is set to do. Hope I explained that ok.
Thanks
P.S the machine is an Ultimo if it makes any difference

using the hold buttons to change the stakes and prize selection is only a self test,

it will not store this setting as soon as u close the door it will revert back to its original status

u would need to buy a stakes and prize switchable key, you can obtain these off ebay cheap as peanuts

hope this helps with your quest

unless u had a spare to replace the one that u would of taken out, then it wouldn't really be wise to remove it anyway.

I meant to swap it with the one that was in the machine I have at the minute. It cost me about £7 aswell. At least the lad who bought the machine off me gets the use of it anyway so at least it wasnt wasted.
