Anyone know about fruit machine faults? i have a club cops and robbers..was playing it today and whammo.. went dead..got sensor lights alight on the reels but thats about it.. nothing else lights up..any of you smart people have any idea what may be the problem..power supply buzzes so i guess it has power... so any help will be appreciated.

I'm sure Bazpeeb must be getting fed up with everyone constantly spelling his name that way It is a 'b' at the end, not a 'p'

first off all check to see if the gamecard has maybe just fallen out or isn't seated properly on the mpu.

if thats ok then you will have to check each of the fuses on the power supply.

its the little black circles on the top of the power supply,get a screw driver and twist the fuse holder out and the fuse pops out.

well iv'e just got back this morning (tuesday) as i have just been to scarborough and bought a few machines..... :-)


as baz states check the gamecard and fuses but makesure on the gamecard that no pins have bent where it slots onto the scorpion board. as that can cause problems

Thanks guys for the replies,i had a man called and he replaced the power supply,the motherboard (mpu4) and recorrected some wiring and i cant believe it.......all for £30. i have his number in my book now but hell i might get it tattoed on my chest. i dont know but i believe that was dirt cheap..if not i was well happy with it anyways.

Hmm well thats what the man said or at least i think he said mpu4 it was mpu something lol. now i know why he was cheap too .. bloody machine cuts off after a while for about 20 seconds every so often. oh well
