Another meaningless, but poignant sentence.
"While all around is rain and showers, lets just count our happy hours".
Not being much use am I. My Nan was diagnosed with Alzhiemers disease two years ago. It's painful waiting for her to leave us.
We went to Blackpool Pleasure Beach a few weeks ago, the fireworks were going on, and my Nan said - "my life is the Big Dipper - not as big as the Big One, but ever so much more meaningful". I don't understand what that means yet.
I hope I will.
Blackpool Pleasure Beach also has a mascot, "Mr Funshine". I believe we can all learn from that.
Again, I am so so sorry.
Neil.

It has been said many times before in this thread but i will say it again, sorry to hear of your loss Sgt and RB, stick in there.
As you may of noticed, my sig has had a line in it for a few years that i think says alot. It summed up my feelings at one point in my life and i am sure it will sum up yours as well.
"And i would pray for her, i would call her name out loud.
I would bleed for her, if i could only see her now."

Everyone has felt the way you guys are feeling at the moment. Its something that has touched us all over the years. We should always remember the good times that we shared. 2 hours is such a short time to have lived that it does make you question whether there is a god and/or why life can be so unfair? Many people believe in re-incarnation. Perhaps your sister was needed elsewhere? Surely there has to be a reason why a life can be ended so soon after entering the world? Don't know how religious you are, but I'm sure that we all end up in a better place.
We all pass away at some point. It's the only thing in life that is guaranteed.
Thats why we should all get on with life as if there were no tomorrow. Imagine how great the world would be if everyone made the most of their life. Ask yourself what things you would do if you knew you werent going to live another day? Spend it playing fruit machines? Don't think so, but its something that many of us do day after day. I can't remember the last time I visited my relatives but I know when I was last at nobles. And I'm sure that this would ring true for many people here. Do something
about it now. We just don't know what is the round the corner.
Be strong mate. You'll have to be. Make something of your life in memory of your sister. Through time, the pain begins to fade but your memories won't.

it is very hard to lose a love one.early this year we found out that my mum had cancer and that it had gone to far to do anything.so for the last 12 weeks we have been watching her get worse and worse.the doctors have now told us she would might just make xmas but she is slippy away very fast now as the cancer has gone to her brain.it is so up setting sitting there and watching her get worse.and this is all because of that little wight stick we all call a fag.i have smoked myself for 20 years and it took this watching my mother die before i could pack up.i have not had a fag for about 3 weeks now.i am sorry for posting this here but i cant talk to my family as i have got to be strong for them all.so mum thankyou for the years you have spent with me and i hope the last few days i spend with you will be happy ones love you with all my heart
thanks flyer

Very sorry to hear that mate. Don't think yourself one of a kind for this to happen. When I was a toddler, mother had twins. Seemed all nice, but they were too small to look after themselves. ONe died in 6 hours, the other in 5 days.

So sorry to hear the news guys..albeit a little late. My hearfelt condolensces.
In this town in the last week we've had two tragic accidents. A young girl was hit by a bus and killed, just round the corner...the flowers are still on the street...and last week also there was a horrible car crash in which a friend of mine's best friends died....The girl in the car was pregnant...the baby was delivered prematurely but died the next day in hospital....as did she....4 tragic deaths in a week. Makes you think there must be somewhere better than this....and all our departed loved ones are already there.
