Why do people seem so obsessed with party-Time including myself, I see people lining up to play these machines, people from all ages shaking, smoking 1 cig after the other, sweating, screaming, clapping, I have never in my gambling history see any machine that has people just obsessed and addicted with these.

The whole idea, the sounds, the lights, the ballons everything about it, have really got people hooked.

Small arcades that have 3 sets of 3-4 linked machines thats well alot of machines in 1 small arcade yet they are always packed.

I don't know why Astra don't just have a whole f*****g arcade full of party-time machines in and have done with it, they could have just 1 huge machine and when someone wins the jackpots 100's balloons could fall (soz just an idea) but really it seems this is the way things are going, even other linked machines that try and copy party-time like monopoly still come no were near party-time. So what is this attraction and why???

Also the percentage payout aint that much for them!!! Lets talk about the famous party-time..

Question: Why do some machines say ' PLAY 1 ITS YOU' THEN OTHERS SAY 'PLAYER1 WELCOME TO PARTYTIME OR SUMMAT'

I thought it depended on the version? I assumed Party Time Arena and say Party Time Deluxe used different effects?

The only problem i have with Party Times is that it's nigh on impossible to win unless you get on the top reels, which is hard enough with 15 players, and then get lucky. I've been with mates and between recycling wins and putting money in, in about £75 worth of credit, nothing other than X's for £1 came up. Not a single Astra's for £5 or the Jackpot. It's all very well saving for the massive streaks it can go to, but when your getting stuck with £1 after £1 after £1 win, then ooooh, top reels, chances...then it f***s you with a £2 win and ends, then you feel a bit cheated.

You should be able to sometimes make a decent profit off the bottom reels as well...

well i think party-time will be with us for many years to come with more and more new party-time machines will be coming on the market.

Some people say party-time is like a random machine and if sum1's putting shit loads of money in 1 its best playing the free one even though its paid out, but I don't nessary agree wiv that becos I have out well over 100 quid in before and its pays out well when u put quite abit in. And very rarely you hear it dropping at the bottom but then I heard a rumour that the dropping noise at the bottom is a fix to make ppl think it's full especially those wiv the tv screen on the main feature cos every party-time machine on that one you hear it dropping at the bottom.

It's a real hard machine to understand in a way, i think your probably best and safer playing the 10p ago ones.

"when someone wins the jackpots 100's balloons could fall "

Good idea, great minds think alike.

"Party Time Stadium" is ideal for large venue operators who need something to fill the floorspace.

I don't know the obsession either. I'm actually a few bob up on these, not sure if it's careful play or just luck. Never had mega big results, just play them very occassionally and if I lose a tenner, walk away.

I agree.

I have learnt now never to try and chase a party time because you put £100 in and get a £2 party time and then some lucky sod puts £1 in the one next to you and gets a run of £75.

If I see one in the arcade now I will try a luck £5 in one and If I lose then just walk away. Alternativley I just see if any of the machine have a part credit in (30p a go) and put a £1 or £2 pound in to get the extra credit, if it goes party time then great but if not just leave it.

The one I dont like is where you have to gamble for a party time especially when you have a jackpot and it offers you £25 or party time. made that mistake once and got £2 instead of "25 and was gutted. Mostg times it only gives you 1 spin and then ends and does not repeat like the original party time.

But as I have said all the time now fruit machines are not what they used to be. Where is ther fun and entertainment in them. All I seem to get now is stress whe I play them as it is so hard even to get a medium sized win on them.

BRING BACK THE £15 jP 25P PLAY.

like Vegas Nights and Party Time Player. I have developed a simple theory, on the £5 ones take VN or PTP on the £25 take the jackpot. As it could spin in £2.

Looks like the pic is taken from within an arcade, or a spoilt backwards kids bedroom ;)

Either way that pic puts me off. If there was a pic with all units on, that would be fine.

With the pic there though, EITHER theres an error somewhere, of the machines didn't have a chance to initialise. I'd assume theres an error.

Again though - he says you can see them working. Maybe thats working as in 'the reels spin' rather than 'they light up' ?

think thats the first time ive seen a party time on ebay....

the reason their so popular to me is simple, their easy to play and you can win alot. take the 10p / £5jp for example fair few times you can get up their and score £20 odd.... now find me another game on which you can do that without having a knowledge of how to force it for streaks and stuff. although it can get tricky remebering the nudge combo's im still finindg new ones out, it never ends. i tend to avoid the arenas.. never like them. but the orignal version and the party games are decent, ive never really lost. you just need to know when to play it. cant complaign about losing loads of money in it, end of the day you cant blmae astra....it was you who decided to spoon £100 or whatever down it.

they do seem to be the easiest game to jack casino wise, i dunno if its just the ones down my way but they dont seem to be too tight.

and no clone has really come close...the only one theyve put out which in my opinion plays better than party time is bullion bars. i cant help but love that game.

plus the other reason their good to play is you can sit down while play. pefect for us lazy bastards.

Astra really have flipped the world of gambling upside down and until someone comes along with a better easier way to try n win money then we are stuck with them for the next X amount of years.

i do wonder how much the inventor of party time got paid... a fair old wallop id imagine.

i am suprised i havent seen any new ones yet though, anybody know if their workin on any? they kinda stopped after party games...

I too love the Bullion Bars, i have played the deluxe and arena editions. I prefer the arena one much better. I play it every time i go to bingo! It is set on 80% £25 30p. I was very lucky the other day i had a £65 bank with only £30 in. I would play this over PT now, unless it is switched off.

What about if someone went halfway at £3250. If i had the money i would buy this, as that is a VERY GOOD price, considering a particular trade company in C.S is selling them at another price...
