Hi,

just bought a cop the lot fruity but didn't get any manual with it, problem is that i cant access the system menu to empty hopper, sound check, bulb check etc...

on my other fruity i hold one of the switches inside until a double beep but this one is different, one green button and one red (red resets machine) the green one will be the sys menu but i have tried various combos to no avail

Anyone have this machine that can help me to access the sys menu

cheers :)

Hi,

To dump the hopper on most Bell fruit's Scorpion 4 machines (certainly all I've owned!) simply open top door (not sure if you have to open top door, but think you might? haven't sone it for a while!), open bottom door (open cash door too) wait for boot-up and then press cancel - then turn the refill key and press the small black rocker switch bottom right in the cash door - you will hear a deafening "beep" & the display will now say press start to dump £1 hopper.

If you need more set-up help most folk on this site can help or if you PM me I could FAX you a copy of the pages from my manual which will be nearly the same - DIP switches do vary from machine to machine depending on year, and depending on new gamnbling regulations crap from BACTA.

The red and black buttons on the Scorpion main board are needed for other config set-up's - the red one you don't need to touch at all. The black with the front door open (and machine booted-up) goes into other set-up modes that you can scroll through with the buttons.

Volume and easy stuff can be accessed with refill key with machine locked up simply turn key and press cancel to go into volume menu's (if refill settings don't work its a DIP switch setting on the MPU, this varies by machine!)

Hope that helps for now ! Martin :)

1.open all doors
2.press the cancel button on the front so the read meters writing on the display clears,it will then say doors open.
3.press the green button once.

you are now in the test routines.
reset the machine to exit test routines.

baz
