Thought I would introduce myself so 'Hello'!

My real name is Ben and I'm 23 years old. Originally from Torquay which unlike everyones preconception is not a great place to live. Unless you are looking for a double of God's waiting room or a bingo addict.

Coming from the seaside and a 5 minute walk to the beach, myself and friends in toe spent many an hour in the arcades. Be it pummeling all our pocket money into a fruit machine and jumping for joy at winning £1.80.
Or more often than not nudging the 2p machine waiting for it to drop the 8p on the edge and legging it from the security guard after setting off the alarms.

I absconded from the tranquil seaside/villager life when I was twelve and scouted to play for Leicester City youth football team. Alas it was not to be and I was not offered my professional contract, although I am jealous of certain other friends I knew who have made it and are now loaded.
However in hindsight I am thankful for a life changing experience which I feel has made me the person I am today. Thankfully I gained a decent education and unlike others who where obviously blessed with the talent, I did not look at life with a blinkered view and knew I needed something to fall back on.

Career wise it has led me to grab what I want with both hands and aim for the sky. My past role involved me travelling around the world, indulging in different cultures, seeing both wondrous and times shocking places. To all those people that moan at our country you don't how blessed you are!
Try driving through certain parts of China where parents cannot afford to clothe their children let alone afford the materials to write a letter of complaint to your local MP as the local Post Office is closing.

With some regret I have now returned to the UK and have rebuffed my initial home calling and set up sticks in Leeds. Where due to certain circumstances I have contracted a life sapping and time consuming condition. It has full control over both my body and mind. It makes both conscious and unconscious decisions for me before my brain has even a chance of deciding for itself. I can no longer fully construct a sentence as the ending of it has already been predetermined. I am unable to have an opinion. I am no longer at the drop of the hat able to go for a simple drink with a friend. Financially even though I have been in the strongest position I have ever been, it seems that I was better off back when I got pocket money from my parents.

Yes you've guessed it I have a girlfriend.

Anyway stumbled across this site by pure chance, and as I have been out of the country for a few years wouldn't know where to start with this Deal or No Deal malarkey.
I am delighted that I can have a snip of joy with some of these older gems, and best of all for free!

Well I think that's me introduced, hopefully speak to you all soon!

Cracking site and full thanks to the founders of this haven!

Hey to all on this site :)
Well little about myself....I like emulation (who doesnt i spose ?)
Played some mame and pinballs and ended up finding this site eventually, which at first glance seems to be the best for fruit machine emulation in general..NICE :bigeyes20:
Being an arcade and pool/snooker guy in my younger years i have played a lot of arcade machines, pinball and slots, oh and poker machines (which i cant say i made an overall err profit on the poker machines, memories of the slots are better lolz)
I think that generally the taking of snapshots, buying second hand machines or visiting arcade halls *ehem to get at those precious roms id say all in all is pretty hard work without the time and coding needed to get it all to work!
All i can say is its a fantastic job you guys are doin here and woohoo to all emulation :bigeyes27:

Hello all - Eddie here.

I love the old fruit machines, although I used to lose on them.

To have the opportunity to play them on my pc for free is going to save me a fortune. All I need to work out now is how to download them.
