1st post, well its best i introduce myself
Well the names matthew but i prefer matty
17 years old
kinda young to like my fruit machines?
id say im somewhat of a begginer at fruit machine emulation
prefer to play em than 2 make them
Favourite machine has to be the 2p nudger, such a simple machine & sooo much fun, also battleaxe won me quite a bit of money on that
so yea, thats my introduction & im glad to be a part of this wonderful community
p.s kudos to kriss for creating the battleaxe layout
Glad you found us Matty. Theres thousands of emulated fruit machines here on the site. The best of 25 years of fruit machines. All for free and to enjoy. Theres no demands that you have to make them. Although the more people we have on board making them, the more games we have to play.
If you like your 2p games, check out the MPS and System 5 section. Look out for Bluestreak, HitMoney and CashCards as 3 examples. I'm sure if you sample the games in the MPS section, you'll find some entertaining games from the 80's and 90's. And don't be put off by these 'OLD' games. I think you'll enjoy them.
hi im lee, 19 from york, like to play fruit machines and intrested in buying my own, great site
I bought my Jackpot 7's from a guy in York. If you're after a classic machine to own, you will find many examples in the downloads section. I guess you can 'try before you buy'. And when you eventually buy your own, maybe you can begin to contribute to the scene by taking some good quality pictures of the machine.
You'll find here at Fruit-EMU lots of people who don't make layouts, but contribute immensly to the scene. Some have knowledge of games to help out with layout creating, and others actively photograph machines in the local or seaside arcade. You'll be surprised with the stories of how certain emulated machines actually came to be. It's not just about 'making' the games.
Enjoy your visits here and why not join in with the banter. We certainly don't bite.

Hello to everybody out there.
This is the first message from me the hurricane.
I just thought i would tell you's my top fav. machines
1. Grand Golden Game (or Classic)
2. Any £35 Deal or No Deal
3. Bobby Dazzler
I tend to hate any hi/low ones because they often are usually a pain.
Ive been having a look around and its amazing how these roms are of such top quality because it must take ages to pull off must of them.
So cheers to everbody that creates them because there such good fun to play.

Hi everyone. 2nd post, but 1st "proper" one
I'm perhaps a little older than most on here when I started playing, machines were starting to have a Hold feature - had to wait a little while for nudges to come along .
I gave up a decade or so ago, now when I see a machine in a pub or cafe, I can't believe how simple they've become - I think the phrase Granny Magnets sums it up well (apologies to any Grannies out there).
First one I can remember playing: 2p play with 10p jackpot , which was actually a choice between 4p and 10p - you pressed a button to stop the flashing lights. There were symbols of castles and crossed swords - no idea of the name but at least 35 years old. Butlins was full of them!
Loving the machines on here... hitthesix, hyperviper and exchanges unlimited... all excellent! I'm surfing on a laptop so unfortunately only the 1024 layouts are available; still, many hours of fun ahead.

hey...well i been using the site for a few month's now and would just like to thank everyone who puts all the hard work in to making the emulators,i'm sure you all put many hours of hard work in to get them up and running. I have been playing the fruity's for about 15 years on and off and as far, like many who tell the truth there is only one winner, having said that i have had many hours of fun trying my luck.but not so much on these shitty £500 random piles of shitttt!!!!...."Pure luck" and until anyone can prove otherwise......i will keep away from the thing's.....i do still like a flutter and enjoy nothing more than trying to beat a bandit....but thing's have changed so much....it's bloody hard work just to win £50 quid nowadays, before another bandit gobbles it up in seconds......anyhow thank's again for your work.....you have saved me money and given me back some bandit's from the good old days.

Hello People,
Nice to have found a site dedicated to the fruitmachines of old,
back before ibecame a family man, spend mucho time in arcades & pubs, spent many £ on some classic fruit machines, can't afford to dabble anywhere near as much now, cost too much, money is tight, ususall crap
Looking forward to frequenting the site & trying to get back to some of my past (but at no £ cost!!! )

My recollection of fruit machines goes back over 30 years, to the days of the 1p machines. I remember the first 27-way feature, by getting 3 red 'strike' symbols in view. The machine had an open display (as far as I recall) of 10p and 1p coins. Rapid flashing lights alternated between silver (10p win) and bronze (4p win).
I presume that it was 'true skill' as my sister had a system of tapping her feet on the floor in time with the flashing lights and always seem to get the 10p jackpot!
I also recall dropping 1p coins into 4 individual slots at the top of a machine to try and slid the coins into a slot to light up 4 cherries at the top of the machine, or plums, melons or bells.
Another machine involved a circluar disc spinning round with various colour horses on it. I enjoyed this, along with the red/blue/green/yellow/white car race and the roulette wheel. All jackpots at this point were 10p for a 1p stake!
